Dr.Joselet Mathew, Dept. of Zoology has presented a paper on “Human cloning, it’s bioethical and theological perspectives” in the International Seminar organized by the Centre for Science and Religion, Metanexus Institute, University of Pennsylvania, USA in June 2006
Miss. Anju Antony won the ‘Fr. Thomas Thaithottam Jubilee Endovement Gold Medal’ for the elocution competition in January 2007. Also Mr. Sabukkuttan of our college got the III Prize in the same competition
Saheer V. of our college written a book named ‘Kayika Keralathile Suvarna Nakshatrangal’ which was published by the College Union 2006-’07
A workshop for most talented school students was arranged by P.G.Department of Physics during the academic year 2006-’07. Interesting and informative experiments like C.R.O., Newton’s Rings, Total internal reflection using LASER, Electromagnetic induction using magnets etc were arranged. |

Green Nirmalagiri Project : On the occasion of the Ruby Jubilee Celebrations, the Green Nirmalagiri Project was launched in 2004. Various trees and shrubs are identified , named and labeled. Flowering and shady trees and plants have been planted in the campus to make it wear a lush green look all around the year
Medicinal Garden : A botanical and medicinal garden has been started with about 75 medicinal plants. The project serves a very purposive role in educating the students and teachers on the agroherbal diversities,our nation is endowed with
Rain Water Harvesting : So as to propagate and educate the society on water resource preservation and management, the college has launched a rain water harvesting project – that is expected to harness much of the run off water during 2 monsoon periods and make worthwhile use of the same during the lean months
Minority Coaching Programme : A UGC funded programme for remedial coaching for the students of minority section has been underway in the college.
P.S.T.A: Classwise Parent-Student-Teacher Association organized by each Department ensures more efficiency in the functioning of the prevailing general P.T.A. of the college. Each class P.S.T.A. assembles in each term or twice a year,discusses and analyses the effective ways of making learning process more fruitful and meaningful in the colleg
