The students & Teachers of the Department of History participated in the world Heritage Week Celebration Conducted at St. Angelo's Fort Kannur by Archaeological Survey of India, Trissur Circle from 19/11/2023 to 25/11/2023. Head of Department, Dr. Sr. Manju O S felicitated the inaugural function inagurated by Kannur district collector Arun K Vijayan IAS. Students & teachers participated in various programs conducted such as Guided Tour, Heritage Walk etc. which is helpful for enrichment of cultural and heritage studies.

Department of History organized a department level quiz competition on the topic 'The Presidents & The Prime Ministers of India' on 29th July 2022 on the occasion of the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected Hon'ble President of India Droupadi Murmu.

In connection with the National Reading Week 2022, Department of History arranged programmes on 24th June 2022. Students of the department handed over books to the department library on the occasion.

Department of History in Collaboration with Chettur Sankaran Nair Foundation for Historical Research and Cultural Studies organized a webinar on ‘Theosophical Movement in Kerala’, as a part of 100th anniversary celebrations of Ottappalam Political Conference of 1921 on 25th September 2021.

Department of History organized a one week programme ‘La Liberte’ from Monday 09-08-2021 to 13-08-2021 as a part of Independence Day celebrations 2021. Various programmes like Independence Day Quiz, Elocution Competition in Malayalam, Poster Making Competition, and Patriotic song Competition were conducted.

Department of History organized a webinar on “Gandhian Ideology and Modern Youth” on Friday 13th August as a part of Independence Day Celebrations 2021.
