‘NMR Spectroscopy' a two days seminar was conducted by Nirmalagiri chemistry department in association with magnetic resonance society, Kerala at Nirmalagiri college. Rev Fr. Mathew Thekkemuriyil, Bursar, Nirmalagiri college, inaugurated the the seminar. Dr Ousepachan KV, principal, Dr. Vijesh Vijayan, IISER, Trivandrum, Dr.Nygil Thomas were present during the inauguration ceremony. Dr. Sunil kumar PN, MG university kottayam, Dr. Vijesh vijayan, IISER, Trivandrum, Dr. Ravishankar N, NIST, Trivandrum were the spokespersons for the two days seminar.

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the project entitled “Crystal Engineering in presence of Tetrel, Halogen and Hydrogen bond, hierarchical and mutual effects upon one another: A novel approach in designing materials with desired structure and properties” under the SRG scheme, SERB, DST, Govt. of India in the Department of Chemistry, Nirmalagiri College, Kuthuparamba, Kannur, Kerala.
